Play, pause, and adjust the volume

Getting sound going in Coffitivity takes just a click. Here’s how playback works.

Start and stop a sound

Pick any sound or blend from the library and press its play button to start listening. Press it again to pause. You can also tap the spacebar at any time to play or pause without reaching for your mouse.

Adjust the volume

Use the master volume control in the player to set your overall listening level. Coffitivity is made to sit comfortably in the background — many people find a moderate level works best: loud enough to mask distractions, soft enough to fade away while you work.

If you’re on your mobile device, you’ll use the physical buttons to adjust the volume.

Note: Blended track volumes are not adjustable from mobile devices. This is known limitation and will be addressed in our upcoming mobile apps.
